When Julia's old Brown Owl arrives at the campus with her nervous fiance in tow, she soon discovers why he is getting cold feet. Heston insists he is fine when he hurts his back and hobbles into work - he finds that his colleagues have varying degrees of sympathy and suggestions of help.
