Manu pens a letter and decides to run away. Tatya Tope finds the letter, and he searches for Manu everywhere. Moti Bai, Lachchu Bai and Sakhu Bai unite and plan to use Manu as a pawn so that she never becomes the queen of Jhansi. Accidently, Manu hides in a box meant to be Gangadhar's present that is going to Jhansi. Moropant tells Tatya Tope to speak to Manu, as he is the only one who can convince Manu to marry Gangadhar. Gangadhar decides to go hunting as the forests of Bithur enchant him.
