Laxmi Bai leaves the commissary with a promise to oust Nelson within 24 hours. Laxmi Bai asks Ellis to sign the letter enumerating the atrocities of Nelson, but Ellis tries to talk her out of it. Gangadhar and Laxmi Bai spend some special moments with Anand Rao. Laxmi Bai takes Gangadhar's blessings to accomplish her mission. Without Gangadhar's knowledge, Laxmi Bai and the ministers accost Nelson, who creates unrest amongst the people. Laxmi Bai urges the people of Jhansi to fight Nelson.
