Ganga fakes her dedication by showing Laxmi Bai's statue made by her to Tatya Tope. Under the pretext of Laxmi Bai's safety, Ganga compels Tatya Tope to teach her the technique, which even Laxmi Bai does not know. Gangadhar apprises his men about the challenge and warns them not to injure the Nari Sena. At Hira Bai's behest, Laxmi Bai visits the cows' shelter for a puja. Seizing this opportunity, Ganga leaves a snake to create unrest amongst the cows. A veiled Ganga faces Laxmi Bai with a sword.
