Martin reprimands his men for not bringing Gangadhar's dead body and orders them to bring it. But when one of the men refuses to go, he gets killed. Laxmibai overhears Martin telling his men to search for Gangadhar Rao and kill him. Laxmibai concludes that it is not safe to shift Gangadhar Rao anywhere for treatment. Raghunath and the Prime Minister are worried on not finding Gangadhar Rao. The Prime Minister asks Raghunath to search for Gangadhar. Laxmibai somehow manages to hide Gangadhar in a hut. Outside the hut, Laxmibai is shocked to hear her people vowing to kill Gangadhar. Raghunath finds a dead body in the jungle whose face is unrecognisable, and assumes it to be Gangadhar Rao's. Karma comes to the village and tells everyone that Gangadhar has been killed. Everyone rejoices. Samar Singh informs Laxmibai about the same. Laxmibai is puzzled. Gangadhar Rao's body is brought to the palace. Everyone mourns over his death.
