After Moti Bai's servant dies, she tells Gangadhar that something is wrong. Gangadhar queries Narsingh about Shwetambara. Janki Bai tells Shwetambara to win over Gangadhar so that he can forget Moti Bai. The Peshwa takes Manu to Vaishali's house. Vadrayan insults the Peshwa and queries Vaishali. But Vaishali tells Vadrayan that she doesn't love Nana and asks them to leave. Nana hears this, and the Peshwa is saddened by it. The Peshwa tells an apologetic Manu that she tried simply to unite them.
