Moti Bai writes a letter to Gangadhar, but Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar read it. Gangadhar tells Raghunath to find the girl who has his necklace and Raghunath asks Moropant to search for the girl. Moropant tells Vahini Saheb about the necklace, and she tells him she has seen it on Manu's neck. Upon questioning, Manu denies having the necklace.
