Tong Ming, Ip Ching and Oi-ling discuss open brain surgery. Oi-ling is designated as chief surgeon as she is really certain about her approach to complete removal of tumor in the brain. While Oi-ling and Yat-to casually talk about surgery, Oi-ling abruptly brings out a wedding ring and asks Yat-to to put it on for her. Tong Ming returns home and sees sticky notes left behind by Zoe So. Tong Ming feels touched and also sad. Oi-ling begins the operation. Ip Ching keeps her company as a gesture of support.
