The first stop will be the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, where the story of one of the last Roman empresses still echoes. Then it will be the turn of Theodoric's tomb, with the black legends that surround his story, and the precious mosaics of San Vitale, where the gold still shines today as it did 1500 years ago.
