Set during the South American Wars and the story of the political hostages whose lives depend on a stranger's decision. The stranger -- a young Spanish officer who has become a follower of the revolutionary leader, Simon Bolivar -- can save their lives and his own by revealing the whereabouts of Bolivar to the Spanish conquerors.
