FAI can finally appeal against his conviction. To defend his friend FAI, BEN has to question the validity of the statements given by LING, the only witness. BEN feels trapped in a dilemma in which he has to choose between friendship and love. In the court, LING insists that FAI is the real murderer of MABEL. BEN points out that the sense of guilt that swept over LING made her so desperate to seek revenge for her friend and it was probably the bad impression she had about FAI that made her believe that FAI was the murderer. LING, of course, denies it. After knowing that BEN has asked JESSICA out for dinner, VINCENT immediately invites her to watch a movie with him.
