Law enforcement student Amanda Sigers falls in love and eventually marries med student Sayantan 'Sy' Ghose. When Amanda gets custody of her sister's baby, she discovers that Sy has a dark and dangerous side, and divorces him. As she moves on and starts dating someone new, Sy can't seem to leave her alone.
