The 2012 Annie Awards, held for the fourth year in a row at UCLA's beautiful Art Deco treasure Royce Hall, was hosted by the irreverent comedian and actor Patton Oswalt. This year's event drew perhaps the largest crowd in the history of the awards, due in part to the return of Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, and the fact that more nominees were being honored in 28 categories across the board.
