Takeru comes to the artisan district in search of scissors to use in gathering materials, and meets an apprentice blacksmith named Libur. Takeru offers to gather the "Ildra Stone" that his master desires in exchange for making him a pair of scissors for himself, and heads for the Liuhai Mine. On the way, he encounters the unfortunate elf Brolite.
