After slamming on the brakes and fearing she hit Nell, Sonya is relieved to see her daughter is safe – but it could have been a lot worse. Wanting to protect Toadie, she tells him that Nell was never in any danger and Toadie is relieved. But when a determined Toadie regains his independence by wheeling himself outside he sees Nell”s ball and grows suspicious.
