Rod Ferrell is the teenage leader of a vampire cult, first in Florida then again in Kentucky after a family move. Heather, his follower in Florida, repeatedly tells him she hates her parents over a year of phone calls. Rod devises a murderous plan to prove his power - and takes his followers along for the ride.
