Young architect Tony Drummond insists he must make a success of himself before he'll marry his rich heiress fiancée. She offers to finance a his housing development plans so they can marry sooner, but he refuses. When Michael Anthony presents him with the Tipton cheque, Drummond assumes it, too is one of her schemes.
